AYOOLA FOODS NIG.LTD was founded by our managing director / chief executive officer- Engr. Segun Emmanuel Olaoye in 1991 and was registered as a food processing, packaging, marketing and consulting company.

Our initial plan was to feed Africans in diaspora.Our CEO had his master's degree in Odessa Engineering institute in 1984 in the former Soviet Union now Ukraine. One other thing he really missed during his six-year studies in abroad was African diet, which was not available at Odessa in USSR as at that time.

AYOOLA FOODS NIG. LTD commenced business in 1991 with eight staff members. Our first export was to London. With hard work and God's blessing, today we have seventy-five staff members. Our new ultra modem factory was commissioned December 22^nd 2001. We started with few products but today, we have over twenty different products to our credit. We are still working on new products and packaging to make our products more attractive at first sight.

Today, we are the only company in Nigeria approved to smoke fish for export to European countries.

We expanded our marketing outlet to Canada in 1992 and to the united states of America in 1994, in 1998; we commenced business   with Belgium, Holland and Germany. we commenced business with Australia, January 2006 with our first shipment to our distributor, who is currently working hard to have sub distributors in different parts of Australia.

We commenced sales of our products in the local Nigerian markets in August 2004. We took part in various exhibitions and trade fairs in different parts of Nigeria to show-case our products – pounded yam, cassava, fufu, and bean floor. The response has been tremendous and we are introducing three other products to the local market by Dec. 2006. They are peeled bean, rice flour and plantain flour, due to popular demand from our customers.  Today with the help of our distributors and sub-distributors in different countries, our products are now available in over eighteen countries worldwide. We are still working hard to accommodate more distributors in many other countries.
